Problems in software design

In most small and medium-sized software enterprises, analysts and designers are generally software engineers, but these people often have few opportunities to communicate directly with customers, and most lack experience in first-line projects. In software design, they often refer to existing similar software, plus customer feedback needs and some of their accumulated experience, and do not know what customers need.

In this way, there may not be any major problems in the development phase, but after the software is put into use, some originally conceived functions may not meet the needs of customers, forcing customers to put forward many requirements for ease of use or perfection. Frequent changes often lead to code redundancy, or even serious reversal, causing unnecessary losses to enterprises and customers.

Many domestic software enterprises start with projects, gradually refine them, and then form their own products. It should be said that this kind of product that has been tested in practice is quite good, but there is a very interesting phenomenon here, that is, as long as there is a demand on the project, we should do everything possible to achieve it. Of course, this is also the service tenet of many software companies, and the starting point is also good. The result is that the more the product is changed, the more chaotic and unstable it is, which directly affects the product reputation and future product maintenance.

Domestic application software products are updated very quickly. To some extent, it affects the product experience. Software companies blindly follow customer psychology and compete with each other. Many functions are the same. There are few innovative things, and products are often not subject to rigorous and systematic testing, so product instability is inevitable.
