Usage and precautions of natural gas meter
Natural gas instrument is a counter used for natural gas. If it is necessary to connect natural gas, a natural gas meter must be installed. Usage and precautions are as follows:
1. Prevent water from entering the surface body.
The natural gas meter is not waterproof, and the water in the meter body will cause short circuit damage to electrical components.
2. Check the battery regularly.
Since the battery has been used for different times due to power consumption, it is necessary to regularly check whether the used battery is in good condition and whether there is leakage. Once the battery flows, the spring in the battery box will be corroded, resulting in power consumption, low power, no response of the gas meter, valve closing, etc.
It is recommended that the user check the battery level at least once every two months. If the gas is not used for a long time, the battery should be taken out to prevent the battery liquid from corroding the spring of the battery box and prevent the natural gas meter from self-locking. Generally, the natural gas meter will give an alarm when the charge is about to run out and the battery power is low. When giving an alarm, observe whether the instrument display screen shows that the battery is low or the gas volume is about to run out, so as to replace the battery or replenish the gas volume in time.

3. Unclosed space ventilation
The natural gas meter should be installed in a ventilated and dry place and should not be packaged. Although the natural gas meter is packaged to beautify the kitchen, it is not easy to find gas leakage and repair, and accidents are likely to occur after gas leakage.
4. Three "No" Principles
Users are not allowed to look at the gas meter with naked light and knock the gas meter. The gas meter pipeline (meter) cannot be dismantled and reconstructed without permission, and must be carried out by professional maintenance and installation personnel to avoid leakage and explosion accidents of the gas meter.
5. Do not close the valve for a long time
When natural gas is not used for a long time, the valve in front of the instrument shall be closed. At the same time, the battery in the battery box of the natural gas meter shall be taken out to prevent the battery from being placed for too long, the liquid from flowing out, the components in the control box from being corroded, and the meter from being out of control.
6. It is necessary to check the air leakage.
Regularly check the joints, valves and related equipment of the natural gas meter with soapy water or leak detector to see if there is any gas leakage.
