In normal work, I am lucky to be able to exchange some product system contents or learn some management methods with some customers of heating enterprises.
Our charging system has experienced several years of precipitation and accumulation. In the production process of annual big version iteration, it is inseparable from the joint efforts of our system product team, and people tend to ignore the contributors to these needs - customers of heating enterprises.
Because of their higher requirements for product systems, we are encouraged to continue to improve our products to meet the requirements of different customers. I have the honor to participate in it personally and communicate directly with our customers in this process. In the process of communication, I found that some customers have used many systems, and their own enterprises have also experienced long-term running in and precipitation.
When they put forward requirements for the system, they will add a lot of ideas for improvement, and these ideas are often very good, which we would never think of when sitting in the office.
In this way, I once again felt that as a product person, I could not get stuck in my own small circle. I must go out, communicate more with customers, contact them more, and absorb the nutrients we lack from them.
I remember that at the meeting on May 25, I introduced the charging system to several customers. At that time, the customer's requirements were routine for them, but they might be new to us.
From this, we know that some customers have a lot of trouble with financial statistical statements, which are not accurate all the year round and must be calculated manually. Before the meeting, I just sorted out the contents of the project report.
In the process of sorting out, I found that some enterprises will separately count heating fees and heat loss fees, and this fee will change with the nature of accounts receivable.
How do they make statistics when accounts receivable change? I brought this issue to the meeting and had some discussions with the finance department of one of the enterprises. The finance of this enterprise happens to be that of our client Hexi Fangxin.
The financial explanation was very clear at that time. In this case, the previous expenses should be offset from the financial point of view, and then re recorded to ensure the consistency of money and tickets.
I was suddenly awakened by a word from the customer. Yes, we used to be too smart to let the system do all kinds of automated things, while ignoring the essential business and consistent financial bills and bill logic.
Only by ensuring the consistency of currency and notes can the financial statements be checked accurately in the reconciliation process.
From then on, I realized that when we can't solve the problem through hard thinking, why not ask the customer or discuss with friends to expand the perspective and thinking of the problem? The product is not for one person. We maintain the mission of maintaining the product with customers.
